Review your 2026 preliminary assessment before year-end

Do income and deductions still match your situation? An autumn review can reduce the risk of underpaid tax.

Use autumn for a review

You can update the preliminary assessment several times. Changes in salary, home-working days or property ownership should be reflected in your figures.

Check income, travel and property

Review salary, pension and benefits, the days you actually travel to work, property purchases and sales, and foreign income. Combine income already earned with what you expect for the rest of the year.

Keep 2026 and 2027 separate

Update and approve the figures in TastSelv and retain your calculation. The 2026 preliminary assessment concerns tax paid during 2026; the annual assessment follows in 2027. Preparing the 2027 budget does not update 2026.
